(Because my whole reason for this blog is to make a book someday, I am going to share lots of pics from our trip!!) In October we set off for California! We drove to Portland and Gabe and Kennedy stayed with Adam’s parents and brother and sisters and cousins and we took the two older boys with us. They were so excited to just go to the airport and get on a plane! One of the fun, first moments in life! Once we got in, we stopped off at the Newport Temple and took pictures, then we headed to Laguna Beach for some lunch and beach of course!
It was kinda warm but kinda cold, so I opted for the “no cold water” option and I stayed on the beach and watched the boys be crazy! It was a beautiful day! Lunch at Johnny Rockets was awesome! The boys were in heaven! After being there for 5 minutes, a couple next to us asked if Adam went to Ricks College. Of course the girl knew him! We all had to laugh at what a small world it is!
On Sunday we visited the Los Angeles temple and visitor’s center. The temple grounds were so beautiful and peaceful amidst downtown LA with the hustle and bustle of the big city. We spent 4 hours at the visitor’s center which was similar to the one at Temple Square. And we could have stayed longer! The kids loved it!
