Who's Counting??

11 more days till school starts!!!  Who's even counting????

Well, seriously we are trying to enjoy the last days of summer even though I feel I've had my share of arguing, fighting, and complaining (about chores) from a certain boy who will remain nameless. But I think I will miss the spur of the moment plans we make, lounging poolside every other day soaking in the vitamin D, and getting together with friends........but it will be nice for all of us to get back into a routine. Here's a few pics from my phone today when we were at the pool (Caden and Tanner were splashing under water at the moment).

Gabe has really improved in the water this summer (since his swimming lessons mid June).  He is now comfortable floating around with his arm floaties, and even wanting to put his face in with goggles now and then ! Yay Gabers! Tanner has become a fish just like Caden (especially since he has some scuba goggles that make it easy to see everything) and it's so nice to not worry about them being able to swim so I can be with Kenz and Gabe in the kiddie pool area.

We've had a lot of fun this summer swimming, boating, traveling to Portland and Seattle, visiting family and cousins, going to a Mariners game, riding a ferry and train, going to the cabin for the family reunion, floating the river, 4 wheeler rides, going to the movies, bowling, ice cream runs, and sleeping out in the tent in the backyard.  But I think we will welcome school with open arms!!
