We're back....

So this guy finished up first grade and was excited to embrace summer! We've been enjoying late nights and sleeping in (something I didn't think would ever happen 2 years ago!

His last game was the beginning of June and unfortunately they were rained out! So we moved our celebration party to Pizza Hut and enjoyed cupcakes, pizza, and trophies of course! Caden did excellent on the team and we are looking forward to another season next year!

A couple of weeks ago we headed south to visit the great city of Salt Lake City and spend time with family. Despite that it rained almost every day, we did get to see some fun things and visit with family.
We had fun visiting the Clark Planetarium where the boys were able to experience what it would be like to jump around on the moon!

We were able to visit some cousins down in Alpine and play some fun games outside! We could have played ultimate frisbee and volleyball (and the Wii)all night!

We celebrated Aunt Sherry's birthday with some cupcakes and going out to lunch!

We met up with Miriam and visited the Conference Center and had a great tour! We were excited that the roof was open to walk on! Gabe was home taking a nap while we escaped to Temple Square!

We were lucky to have a beautiful sunny day for our trip to Hogle Zoo! We saw some fun animals!

Of course the boys LOVED the zoo train!

We ended the day with a trip up the canyon with cousins for a little bbq and mountain biking! What a great way to end our vacation!

It's the end of June already?

Ok, so we ARE alive and I'm realizing I am a wee bit behind on the blogging scene. With the wrapping up of school, baseball, enrichment, and adapting to all kids home all day, and getting ready for a vacation, blogging was put on the back burner.
However, I will download some photos soon and recap the last month.

But today (Friday) I wanted to journal/highlight a milestone that Mr. C and I are celebrating. TODAY marks a DECADE ago that we were married! We can't believe that 10 years has really gone by. I thought it would be fun to recap the last 10 yrs.....(while I still remember the details since they're already getting a little fuzzy)!
• We've moved 7 times (to Portland twice, to Montana, to Kuna apt & house, and then to a rental and then here)
• We've bought 2 homes.
• We made it through grad school! Yay!
• We've become parents to 3 very energetic boys!
• We've bought 1 vehicle together (the van).
• Sold 1 car (my old Escort)
• Thankfully we've only visited the hospital to give birth!
• We've been on two vacations out of the country without the kiddos!
• Have never owned pets (although at times we think we have some crazy monkeys running around)!
• Made it through our first real season of city league baseball with Caden!
• Helped support each other with a variety of church callings.
• Have had lots of jobs! After we were married, we worked our own lawncare company in Tualatin, Adam waited tables @ Chevys and I did the morning shift @ Crowne Plaza. Adam tutored Spanish @ ISU and I worked in the foreign language lab and babysat my professor's baby, and then worked at the College of Education. In Missoula Adam worked at getting his graduate degree and at a the fitness club (The Court House)and worked with Paul. I worked for free as I finished my degree while student teaching. Then I worked in two law firms and at an insurance company on Saturday mornings doing mail. After graduating from UofM Adam landed his first "offical" job with RehabAuthority while in the same month, I entered my new career as mommy. Later I started teaching piano lessons and then I did a little jewelry business. Adam is still working at a fitness club and I am working full time as a mommy!

We have been very blessed for the past 10 years and I am excited to see what the next ten years hold for us! I see lots of sporting activities, games, practices, taxi driving, friends, lots of food preparation and consumption for the little people as well as baptisms and priesthood ordinances.

Here's to another ten! I love you, Adam!
