In August we took our first little family summer vacation to McCall, Idaho! We had a great time relaxing, hanging out on Lake Payette, bike riding, wave running, beach playing, just chillin, and playing Monopoly until way late at night!
For breakfast the first morning, Adam bought some HUGE cinnamon rolls from the Pancake House that fed our whole family with leftovers!
We had a day filled with fun at the lake….
The water was a bit chilly at first, and Gabe was trying to be brave and go under, but you could tell he was really cold! He did though! He finally took the plunge!
The kids were in heaven just playing away all day in the sand!
Not sure if this little girl has more sand in her diaper or on her hands! She was saaa-gy!
We rented a wave runner for an afternoon and the boys had so much fun on it! Kenz didn’t want anything to do with it!
We took a drive around the whole lake and found a cute little beach!

Oh how we loved McCall! We were able to escape the smoke that was hovering over the city from the mountain fires and surprisingly, we enjoy some clean mountain air – we were so nervous that it would be really smoky up there! We are hoping to make this vacation an annual tradition…Until next summer!!!
